Horse Training Tip for the Stop-N-Turn Bit:

Give your horse ample time to know what you want from this bit. The bar (see picture) actually fits under the jaw (Jaw Support)

By raising the headstall up or down you can adjust the tightness of the noseband on the nose of the horse. Do not have the Jaw support too loose or it will rock up & down. And not so tight it pinches. The standard size noseband (included) will fit most horses. We do make Adjustable nosebands for ponies and extra large horses & mules.

If you do not know what you want, simply do a few exercises like the ones listed below.

1.Walk circles both directions applying a slight amount of pressure. Keep in mind that you want your horse to eventually start to break at the poll and give his nose.

2.Trot circles following step 1. After step 1 and 2 are complete, start to do back circles, go slow to start with

3. If you don't get quick results, repeat until you get one of these steps smooth. Then quit for the day. Repeat 3 to 4 times a week. Very soon your results and success should be great! Remember, TAKE THE TIME!
